Integrating an additional user role - job seekers
As Hyring.ai evolved, the platform needed to move beyond its initial focus on recruiters and companies. I worked on expanding the product to include job seekers as a new core user role, rethinking the experience and architecture to support the needs of all three sides of the hiring ecosystem.
problem
Hyring.ai was originally designed around recruiters and companies, but introducing job seekers meant the product needed to support a completely different set of goals, workflows, and information needs. The challenge was to add this new role without making the existing product feel more complex or disrupting the experience for current users. At the same time, expanding the product meant creating a clear way to structure access to features and monetize the different user experiences without adding unnecessary complexity.
solution
I expanded the product architecture and redesigned the experience to make job seekers a first-class user role. I mapped the candidate journey and created role-specific navigation, content, and interactions while maintaining consistency across the overall product.
Alongside the role expansion, I designed and integrated subscription logic, defining how users access different features and how the business can structure its offering around different user needs and levels of access.

The work transformed Hyring.ai into a multi-sided hiring platform supporting companies, recruiters, and job seekers within one ecosystem.
The subscription logic also introduced a clear monetization framework, creating new opportunities for revenue generation and giving the business a scalable foundation for paid features and future pricing models.

Integrating AI into core hiring workflows
With multiple user types and increasingly complex hiring workflows, I looked for opportunities where AI could make the experience faster, simpler, and more useful. Instead of adding AI as a standalone feature, I focused on identifying real user pain points and integrating AI directly into the moments where it could have the most impact.
problem
Research and workflow analysis revealed several repetitive and time-consuming tasks across the platform. Companies spent time setting up hiring projects, recruiters needed to evaluate candidate suitability efficiently, and job seekers had to manually build their profiles from information already available in their CVs.
The challenge was to use AI to reduce friction and automate repetitive work while keeping users in control.
solution
I integrated AI directly into the existing workflows to address specific pain points:
- AI Project Creation — helps companies create hiring projects and requirements with less manual input.
- AI Candidate Fit — helps recruiters and companies quickly understand how well a candidate matches a role.
- AI Profile Creation from CV — allows candidates to upload their CV and automatically populate their profile.
I designed these as embedded AI experiences, so users could benefit from AI without having to learn a separate tool or change their workflow.
impact
The AI features reduced friction across key stages of the hiring journey and made previously manual tasks more efficient. More importantly, they helped establish Hyring.ai as a more intelligent, AI-native hiring platform, where AI supports users exactly when they need it.
